Dr. Anderson grew up in Salt Lake City, UT and attended Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science. He then moved to Southern California to attend Southern California College of Optometry in 2010. Dr. Anderson interned at the Salt Lake Veterans Affairs hospital in Salt Lake City, Walter Reed National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and the Lawton Indian Health Services hospital in Lawton, OK. Following his training, Dr. Anderson joined the First Eye Care team in 2014 and practices full-scope optometry as a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. His primary interests are primary care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatrics.
Dr. Anderson is a member of the Texas Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. In his free time, he enjoys serving in his church, spending time with his wife and two children, rock climbing, cycling, and sports in general.
